One person. The graphics and the plan.

I’m Frederik. I run Design by Munk on my own, from Denmark, for drivers anywhere.

How it started

It started with race-week graphics for drivers I knew. I’d make a poster, they’d post it, and then nothing until the next race. The graphic was fine. The problem was the three weeks in between, where the account went quiet and a sponsor looking them up saw the gap rather than the lap.

So I started writing the plan too — what to film, what to say, how it gets cut — and handing that over with the graphics. That’s the business now: I make the design, and I make the system that keeps the account alive between races. Every graphic on this site and every plan behind it, I made myself.

Why motorsport and not everything

I’ve been around racing and sim racing for years, and it’s the difference between knowing design and knowing this. I know what a start number looks like when bad text covers it, that a sponsor row has to still read at thumbnail size, and which post gets scrolled past and which one gets saved. That part isn’t a template you can buy.

It also means I say no to things. No liveries, no wraps, no helmet designs — that’s a different craft and someone else is better at it. What you get instead is one person who answers directly, builds every round from a blank canvas rather than re-skinning last week’s file, and keeps the graphics, the videos and the captions reading as one account rather than three.

I’m also honest about the size of it. I run this alongside school, which is exactly why the number of drivers I take on at once is limited rather than open-ended. It’s the reason the work stays this consistent.
